I suppose it could be worse- if I were home, the books that they destroyed would have been priceless, rather than things I picked up for reading because all of my collection is back home. They also banged up my leg pretty bad, but in the long run, that seems pretty inconsequential compared to...well.

How can they just...take people like that? I mean, I know it happens- mum & dad explained the wars to us and how people could go missing or even wind up dead at the drop of a hat for something as little as a rumour, but I've never heard anyone say anything bad about Luna or seen anything like this before.
I wish I could have done something to stop it.
